For our Adult Faith Formation, we decided to explore the same theme of Wonder, just like our campers will do this summer. We invite you to be curious & open to all of God’s beauty that surrounds us every day. Through spiritual practices we will absorb the different wonders in life & as a collective we will witness our relation to the vast mysteries of life. This will also be an extended celebration of our 100 years of Camp Ministry here at Ascension School. We welcome all who have been to camp, alumni, and any adult looking to be renewed by this sacred place.

Christmas Tea
The Annual Cove Christmas Tea was a cozy end to 2022. With friends and family gathering around mugs of delicious tea and cocoa, fun photos with Santa, and a beautiful presentation of delights made with love, we are so thankful to have a community that supports this event every year.
Young Adult Spiritual Retreat
This weekend was filled to the brim with fun and spiritual connection! The group enjoyed making tie-dye, working with Fimo clay, visiting a local farm, practicing yoga and meditation, learning from presenters across the state, and trying new practices of self-love.
Work Weekend
During Work Weekend, friends of Ascension School spent the weekend giving back to our Place Apart through a variety of projects and programming. The weekend was a blast, and the campus looks beautiful.
Faith Formation Retreat
Formerly titled Adult Education, this retreat was all about further forming faith in Christ. Armand Bunky Larive presented on death and dying and how this relates to when we profess belief in “the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
